What to Expect

A journey through Kenya’s top destinations, the Big Five safari promises the avid traveller of an encounter with the “Big 5” among other interesting attractions.

Visit Nairobi, the bustling capital of East Africa before heading to the Aberdares/ Mt. Kenya in the central highlands of Kenya ideal for gamewatching, hiking or mountain climbing.

From here, visit Samburu, the famous land of the Samburu people, Beisa oryx, Gerenuk and Grevy’s zebra. An abundance of elephants is also found here. This is followed by a trip to Ol Pejeta home to two of the remaining Northern White rhinos, Najin and Fatu.

Lake Nakuru National Park, which is the next destination offers up a wide array of attractions that include beautiful landscapes, flamingoes, black and white rhinos and the Rothschild giraffe among others. From Lake Nakuru the safari heads down south to the world famous Masai Mara. If the season is right, experience the Great Migration as thousands of herbivores travel in search of pasture while crossing the crocodile-infested Mara River. Cap off your trip by heading back to Nairobi.
